Se lo richiedete, è possibile farvi prenotare i biglietti per l’Accademia (dove c’è il David) e gli Uffizi. Paola effettua guide anche agli Uffizi, ma non sapendolo prima abbiamo purtroppo perso l’occasione. It was our first visit to Italy and so we opted for the ‘walking tour’ of Florence. Paola gave us an amazing tour, not just of the sights, but of the political and art history and how they shaped Florence. (Her English is excellent.) It was a lot to digest, but we found ourselves understanding the city much more throughly. And wishing that we had been able to stay longer. She also arranged for us to have a reserved time at the Uffizi Gallery, which saved us a lot of time in a line-up.”

I fluently speak Italian, English, German, Spanish and French. I became a fully qualified and licensed Tour Guide for Florence’s City in 1998, after I had taken a master in marketing and worked for an international company for some years.
I am married to Giovanpaolo and we run a small hotel (Kursaal & Ausonia***) in the heart of the city. We have 3 children: Alarigo, Lamberto and Matilde.
I consider myself incredibly lucky because I can share my passion for this unique city with other people.
With Guided Florence Tours I wanted to gather together some highly specialized and experienced tour guides that are enthusiastic about Florence and its rich history as I am.
