Se lo richiedete, è possibile farvi prenotare i biglietti per l’Accademia (dove c’è il David) e gli Uffizi. Paola effettua guide anche agli Uffizi, ma non sapendolo prima abbiamo purtroppo perso l’occasione. It was our first visit to Italy and so we opted for the ‘walking tour’ of Florence. Paola gave us an amazing tour, not just of the sights, but of the political and art history and how they shaped Florence. (Her English is excellent.) It was a lot to digest, but we found ourselves understanding the city much more throughly. And wishing that we had been able to stay longer. She also arranged for us to have a reserved time at the Uffizi Gallery, which saved us a lot of time in a line-up.”

The tour is meant to show you the highlights of the city. You’ll learn about Medieval towers and Renaissance palaces through the life of the people that lived in those times.You will see frescoes and wonderful statues and you’ll get to understand why Florence has became one of the most beautiful and important art cities of the world.
In detail: Piazza della Repubblica, Palazzo Strozzi, Santa Trinita, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi square, Piazza Signoria, medieval quarter, Cathedral (Duomo -from the outside – queues to enter in high season are more than 30 min).
The tour is of about 2.30 -3 hrs -admission fees not included.
