A visit to the Galleria Palatina, located inside the Pitti Palace, will reveal the splendor of the so-called Royal Palace of Florence, home to all the ruling families of the city, including the House of Medici, the House of Lorraine and the House of Savoia, which ruled unified Italy from 1861 until the end of the World War II.

We will escort you through this incredible experience, taking care to make your visit pleasant and being sure that you see the most important masterpieces.

The Galleria can be overwhelming, with all its magical art works and in order to fully appreciate its beauty, the visit must be done in a careful manner.

The Galleria was where the nobles lived and is one of more than 10 museums inside the palace itself. You will hear the stories behind the families, see the incredible art collections and discover how Italian fashion was invented.

The museum houses the paintings of such incredible artists as Filippo Lippi, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio and Peter Paul Rubens. But the art is only a part of the magnificent palace: there are frescoed ceilings and the apartments are filled with astonishing furniture and priceless artefacts.

During our two-hour tour, you will hear the tales of the royals who lived in the palace, and how they came to possess these magnificent works.
